INFORMATION FOR MASTER’S CANDIDATES
The activities of the Nuclear Engineering Program were initiated in 1968, with implementation of the master’s course, which has trained, to date, more than 575 masters in Nuclear Engineering. PEN has been attributed grade 6 by CAPES.
Teaching, research and project development activities are grouped into the following five areas, as follows: Reactor Physics, Applied Nuclear Physics, Reactor Engineering, Safety Analysis and Human Factors Engineering.
